Since then, life has grown in more ways than one. My wife and I have a one-year-old who is already fascinated by my toolkit. What started as a one-woman operation has grown into a team of trained staff and new apprentices. I'm passionate about bringing fresh faces into the trade, showing newcomers the ropes, and building a space where learning is just as important as the finished project. Together, we are lowering the barriers for women and LGBTQ+ people who want to get started in this industry.
I now lead a growing company. While I still work closely with clients, my focus has shifted to training the apprentices who join our team with no skills. I take the time to teach them as many skills as I can and - I hope- pass along my love for this work while I'm at it. My team members know that every project is a chance to teach, create, and collaborate - both as a team and with the clients who trust us with their homes.
My team and I have a grand vision for the future, and we are on our way. We are beyond thrilled that our vision can be of service to our neighbors here in Brooklyn.
There's no project too big or too small. Reach out today - I'd be honored to help bring your vision to life.
With love for Home,
Lindsay
