Our Mission
She Can Caulk It strives to lower the barriers to entry for those underrepresented in the construction industry: women and LGBTQ+ folks.
We fulfill that mission by providing on-the-job training to an in-house crew in the form of an apprenticeship program. Team members learn a variety of skills while working alongside our licensed Lady Contractor, Lindsay. This allows us to approach renovations and repairs in a way that is unusual in this industry.
Within the company, investing in the development of an in-house crew allows us to maintain a safe and collaborative space for women and LGBTQ+ folks in this typically male-dominated industry. On-the-job training, highly competitive pay, and supportive community open the door for talented, passionate individuals to shine.
How does this effect our clients?
For our customers, this means a reliable, consistent team invested in every aspect of the project, rather than subcontractors focused on their individual segments of the work. By hiring She Can Caulk It, you will see top-quality results and know you are supporting marginalized groups in the construction industry.
