The She Can Caulk It Story

Renovations and handywork are in my blood. I grew up flipping houses with my dad; we would move into a house, fix it up, sell it, then move on to our next home and the next project. Every day, I'd come home from school to something new -- knocking down (or putting up) interior walls, laying tile or laminate wood flooring, installing cabinets and countertops, mixing and pouring concrete for a backyard porch -- you name it, I've done it.

In 2020, I wanted to bring in some extra savings to buy an engagement ring for my at-the-time girlfriend. (Spoiler alert: she said yes!) So I got back to my roots. I started small. I took up mounting, furniture building, and minor home repairs on Task Rabbit. Business was booming. Due to quarantine and work from home, folks were putting a higher value on their home environment -- they wanted sliding doors on their closets; they wanted to finally install that new faucet. I went on to create She Can Caulk It in response to the enthusiasm I received from customers who had finally found a handywoman (there aren't a lot of us in this field). Now, looking to expand to what I truly love -- home renovations -- I've become a licensed Home Improvement Contractor.

I don't subcontract because I love the work I do. In other words, I do every part of the work myself (or work alongside my assistants for large jobs), prioritizing my relationship with my clients to make their vision come to life.

There's no project too big or too small. Reach out today -- I would be happy to work with you!

With love for Home,
Lindsay
